Square Plate freezers are commonly used for freezing brick-shaped products in mold or boxes. In plate freezers, refrigerant is allowed to circulate inside thin channels within the plates.
The packaged products are firmly pressed between the plates. High rates of heat transfer can be obtained between the packaged product and the evaporating plates.

Our products have passed the type test of “National Fireproof Building Material Quality Supervision and Inspection Center”. The combustion grade reaches GB8624-2012 standard B1(B-s2, d0, t1) flame-retardant grade. Manufactured product B1 grade, bare board core B1 grade insulated panels are available.

Our PIR Panels use n-pentane high-pressure foaming, without any CFC, HCFC, and HFC, and also respond positively to the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer.

PIR (Polyisocyanurate): Best fire performance among organic insulation foams. Chars rather than melts. λ ≈ 0.022 W/m·K. B2 fire rating. Moderate cost premium over PU.
PU (Polyurethane): Good thermal (λ ≈ 0.024 W/m·K). Flammable — melts and contributes to flame spread. B3 typical. Lower cost.
EPS (Expanded Polystyrene): Lowest cost. λ ≈ 0.035–0.040 W/m·K. Non-toxic smoke. Lower compressive strength. Budget applications.
For food processing and cold storage, Square recommends PIR as the optimal balance of fire safety, thermal performance, and long-term value.

Freezer rooms (−18 to −25°C): 150–200 mm PIR. Stainless steel interior. Vapor barrier critical.
Chiller rooms (0 to +4°C): 100–120 mm. Color-coated or stainless steel per hygiene requirement.
Food processing halls: 75–100 mm. Stainless steel interior for CIP/washdown. Sloped floor interface.
Blast freezers (−35 to −40°C): 200 mm minimum. Stainless steel throughout. Floor frost heave protection essential.
