Freeze Time
Product thickness, water content, initial temperature, and target core temperature determine required dwell time. Thicker products need longer belt paths or slower belt speeds. Typical range: 8–120 minutes depending on product geometry.

Capacity Planning
Three factors interact to determine the right freezer size and configuration. Misjudging any one leads to under-performance or over-investment.

Target kg/hr × freeze time = belt loading requirement. A 5,000 kg/hr line with 30-minute freeze time needs 2,500 kg of product on the belt at any moment. Belt width and tier count scale accordingly.
Product heat load (kW) = mass flow × specific heat × temperature drop. This determines evaporator surface area, fan power, and compressor capacity. Under-sizing the refrigeration system is the most common specification error.
Refrigerant Selection
Refrigerant choice affects capital cost, operating cost, regulatory compliance, and site safety requirements. No single refrigerant is best for every application.
Highest efficiency (COP) at industrial scale
Lowest operating cost per kW of cooling
Zero GWP — no F-gas regulation exposure
Self-alarming — detectable at 5 ppm
Natural refrigerant — GWP = 1
Compact pipe sizes, smaller charge
High heat transfer at low temperatures
Cascade with NH₃ for maximum efficiency
Simpler system architecture
Lower initial capital cost
Widely available service & components
Suitable for smaller installations
Integration Paths
Three integration models — from freezer-only supply to fully integrated turnkey production lines. Choose based on your in-house engineering capability and project complexity.
We supply the freezer. Your team handles installation, refrigeration tie-in, and controls integration. Best for experienced operators with in-house engineering.
Complete freezing system: freezer, refrigeration package, controls, and on-site commissioning by our engineers. You handle civil works and utilities.
